This is the second year of the NSL, and there are ten events which are eligible throughout 2012. The rules are straightforward. Each time your yacht enters an NSL event, your result in that event will count towards your yacht's standing in the NSL. NSL scoring will be the same as for the low-point scoring system for yacht racing. If your yacht does not enter a particular NSL event, you will be scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of boats entered in the particular event, subject to a minimum score of 6 points. Each yacht will be entitled to discard its worst score from one event at the end of the year.
At the end of the year there will be trophies and medals for the National Sailing League champions in each of the racing and cruising classes. We look forward to welcoming your yacht to many events in 2012!
